Welcome to World Vision Vietnam’s website! It is a privilege for us to share with you about how poor is being helped in Vietnam. We have around US$17 million as our annual budget. World Vision Vietnam now has 35 Area Development Programs (ADPs) to combat poverty and transform the lives of vulnerable children, their families and communities, while realistically showcasing the ongoing needs of people living in poverty, who lack access to basic services such as health care, education and economic opportunities. We also help the affected people during natural disasters like the recent typhoon Ketsana.
I encourage you to explore the site, understanding the many facets of World Vision Vietnam’s program and project work, and emergency relief work. We continue to undertake programs and projects to enhance education, nutrition, health, child safety and protection, family livelihood, HIV prevention, disaster mitigation and services for people with a disability.
We work closely with local communities and partners, we continue to learn from their experience, skills and invaluable knowledge, improving our capacity to work with the poorest of the poor.
Our aim is to build the capacity of the poor in the community which will make them sustainable for future. World Vision continues to help the most needy in Vietnam so we want to share our experience with you.
We thank God for all the resources given to us.
